A celebration is in order to commemorate this sesquicentennial.  Heck, a whole weekend of celebrations is in place!

Events & activities and entertainment will include mine tours, gold panning, various living history events, historic house tour, baseball games, marching bands, string bands, dancing, races and of course -- a Parade!
