B Street Theatre at the Yuba Theatre and Loyalton Elementary School

The Sierra County Arts Council is pleased to present to Downieville School and Loyalton Elementary School:

B Street Theatre School Tour, coming to the

Yuba Theatre, 9:45 AM, Thursday April 21st and to

Loyalton Elementary School, 2:00 PM, April 21st.

Fantasy Festival XXX : the winning plays of B Street Theatre’s annual playwriting contest for kids will be performed.

Admission is free and the public is invited to the tour at the Yuba Theatre in Downieville.

For more than 30 years the mission of the B Street School Tour has been to provide entertainment to children while encouraging in them a love for the theatre and a specific appreciation for the art of playwriting. B Street Theatre performs 12 times per week, 38 weeks per year in schools, hospitals and public places reaching approximately 200,000 children annually. The performances are a great way to introduce children to live theatre by expressing the art of telling stories on stage.
